Hello Orbs community!
A lot of exciting things have been happening in the Orbs project this month -
First and foremost, we are excited to launch the Orbs community console together with Flipsidecrypto. The console is a great and easy-to-use tool for the community to track the on-chain activity of the Orbs network.
In addition, in this update you will find the latest news about the defi.org accelerator, Orbs featured on Xangle and the GBBC, as well as a new section of weekly videos with Orbs co-founder, Tal Kol.
Read all about it in this Month’s update. Here we go!!
Orbs and Flipsidecrypto announced that they have teamed up to launch the Orbs Community Console.
The Orbs Community Console displays and highlights key performance indicators for the Orbs network, by tracking relevant on-chain metrics to decode stakeholder behavior and drive network growth. The Orbs Community Console will assist team and community members alike with learning which specific activities are driving growth on the Orbs network and understand metrics that are not just limited to price and market cap.
Read all about it in the official announcement:
Here is a short twitter thread by the flipside team on how the community console can be used to gain interesting insights on the Network using on-chain data:
All in all, the Flipside team did an excellent job on the Orbs Community Console, making it a great analytics tool for tracking Orbs on-chain data with some awesome visualization.
Orbs is proud to be an open, decentralized project and we are delighted to launch this cool product together with Flipside. We invite the community to submit comments and feedback. The community console is currently a public beta, so there still might be some errors and updates.
We are excited to announce that the defi.org team has chosen the 1st batch of projects who will be accepted into the accelerator program. Official announcement coming soon. In the meantime, the accelerator published its first mentor spotlight for Tal Kol, who is also Orbs co-founder and CTO.
Tal is the co-founder and CTO of the Israeli blockchain startup Orbs. Tal previously co-founded Appixia, a mobile app startup acquired by Wix.com, and was Wix.com Head of Mobile Engineering. He is an expert in the following fields: Product/UX, Solidity, Frontend/dev.
Projects who require technical and R&D support will find no better mentor than Tal.

Orbs is excited to cooperate with Xangle, one of the leading crypto information aggregators, to provide the community with added clarity and transparency.

Orbs is proud to be a member of such a prestigious organization.
We are delighted to start a new initiative of weekly update videos with the inexhaustible Orbs co-founder, Tal Kol.
In the first, 2 part video, Tal shares his views on the blockchain market evolution over the last couple of years, and what he thinks will emerge as the killer app of blockchain decentralization.
In the upcoming videos, Tal will go into more details on specific parts of defi, and what Orbs is working on at the moment.
The team is working hard on revamping the Orbs.com website.
Expect some awesome surprises to come...
The Orbs Community Console, mentioned at the beginning of the update, will also be added as one of the helpful tools offered on the new and revamped Orbs.com website which the Orbs team aims to launch in the near future.
