Orbs has appointed Ran Hammer as Chief Executive Officer, with Nadav Shemesh moving into the role of Executive Chairman.

Ran has been part of Orbs since the project began in 2017. His appointment brings someone who has helped shape the business, knows its partners, and understands its community into the CEO role.

As Chief Business Officer, Ran led the integration efforts across the full Orbs protocol suite, working with the team and partners to bring its products into use across the DeFi ecosystem. His work turned individual integrations into lasting relationships and built the partner network that supports Orbs today. Alongside that, he has been a familiar voice for the project, sharing product developments and engaging with the community on its future.

That work has given Ran a broad understanding of the business, from the technology and the teams building it to the partners putting it to use. His appointment builds on that established leadership, bringing years of hands-on experience across the project into the CEO role.
